Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within our distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be an integral part of our logistics network. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be handling products that need to be precisely counted and organized. Your commitment to safety and operational excellence will directly contribute to our success. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy using our warehouse management system.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided if necessary).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of logistics processes and best practices.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including significant Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
