We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within our distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Your attention to detail and commitment to **safety** will be paramount in maintaining our high standards. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company **safety** protocols and procedures.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
- Wear appropriate **PPE**, including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots, as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to **lift** up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to follow all **safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE**.
