About
Join our dynamic warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Material Handler. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the movement of goods and materials to ensure efficient workflow. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, stocking shelves, and ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently throughout the facility. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring products are ready for processing and shipment. We prioritize a safe work environment and expect all employees to wear the designated PPE and adhere to all safety protocols. This role involves regular, physically demanding lifting.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stock and organize materials in appropriate locations.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently to prevent damage.
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
