Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, order picker) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Maintain organized storage of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
