Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and stage inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must wear required PPE at all times while operating equipment.
