- Process and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Create shipping labels and packing slips accurately.
- Verify order details against packed items.
- Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and update tracking information.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as barcode scanners and printers.
- Ensure all shipments comply with company and carrier regulations.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, following safe lifting guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE to ensure personal safety and compliance.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related administrative role.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Good communication skills for interacting with carriers and internal teams.
- Proficiency with office software and shipping platforms.
- Capability for some lifting and physical tasks within the warehouse environment.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
