About
Our expanding Miami, Florida operations require skilled Forklift Operators! In this vital role, you will manage the movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring efficiency and safety in all operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, transporting inventory, and staging products for outbound logistics. We are looking for certified and experienced operators who demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence. A thorough understanding of forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and the importance of proper PPE is essential. This position is key to maintaining the flow of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from various staging and storage areas.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory management and other warehouse duties as required.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Valid and current forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and inventory control.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
