Job Summary:
Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator? Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina, and contribute to the efficient movement of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution facility. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are handled safely and effectively. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport inventory, while strictly adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to move materials efficiently.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and other transport vehicles.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
  • Stack and organize inventory in a safe and orderly manner, ensuring stability.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure optimal working condition and safety.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and record keeping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Report any operational issues or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and procedures.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting.
