About
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. EPA certification is required. Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish are highly recommended. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team while ensuring high standards of service and safety.
*Duties*
* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings.
* Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems, including electrical components and mechanical parts.
* Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Repair or replace defective equipment parts as necessary.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system issues and solutions.
* Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns promptly.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
* Strong equipment repair skills with hands-on experience in mechanical repairs.
* Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
* Experience as a service technician in the HVAC field is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with design principles for HVAC installations and modifications.
* Ability to perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
* Field service experience is beneficial for on-site troubleshooting and repairs.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* On call
* Weekends as needed
* Year round work
