We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse using order sheets or scanners, carefully picking them, and then packing them securely for transit. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are crucial. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficiency of our **logistics** operations. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential, along with strict adherence to all **safety** procedures and the correct use of **PPE**. This role requires individuals who are energetic, reliable, and have a strong commitment to teamwork. You will be involved in a variety of tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Scan items as they are picked to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Verify packed items against order details before sealing.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely as needed.
- Adhere to all **safety** guidelines, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Contribute to **logistics** efficiency by meeting productivity targets.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as receiving and stocking when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Capability of **lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with **logistics** operations is a plus.
