Join our team as a Fulfillment Associate in Madison, Wisconsin! We are looking for energetic individuals to support our growing e-commerce fulfillment center. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items for orders, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. You will also assist with receiving goods, organizing inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to **safety** protocols. Understanding and utilizing warehouse **logistics** is key to success in this role. You will be expected to handle various products, ensuring they are packed securely to prevent damage during transit. We value teamwork and encourage a collaborative work environment where everyone contributes to achieving our operational goals. Regular training on new processes and equipment will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during **lifting** and transit.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including applying labels and documentation.
- Assist in receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate material handling equipment as trained and certified.
- Follow all **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements strictly.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth **logistics** flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of **lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
- Must wear required **PPE** like safety vests and gloves.
- Familiarity with warehouse **safety** practices.
