Are you an energetic individual looking for an opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Our logistics company in Raleigh, North Carolina is hiring an Order Picker. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, ensuring that the right products are selected efficiently and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. You will be navigating the warehouse using a pick list or scanner, locating items, and ensuring they are packaged correctly to prevent damage during transit. Safety is a top priority; you will be required to adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. This role involves physical activity, including walking, bending, stooping, and regular lifting of items up to a certain weight. You will play a key part in our logistics chain, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Training will be provided on our specific systems and procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets
- Pack items securely for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear provided PPE
- Conduct quality checks on picked items
- Assist with inventory counts as needed
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations
