Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick orders from inventory based on order slips or scanning systems.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is advantageous.
