You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving raw materials to preparing finished goods for distribution. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy using our WMS.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking items from designated locations.
- Pack orders securely and accurately for shipment.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with loading trucks for outbound shipments.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking.
- Proficiency with barcode scanners and basic computer skills.
- A strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
Our distribution center prioritizes safety. All associates are trained on proper lifting techniques and are expected to utilize all designated PPE to ensure a secure work environment. This role is essential to our logistics network.
