About
We are looking for experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse facility in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our distribution center. Your expertise in operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment will be crucial to maintaining smooth workflow and ensuring inventory is stored and retrieved accurately. This role is integral to our logistics operations, directly impacting productivity and safety within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, racks, and other storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety protocols and regulations.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
