Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our bustling logistics center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and carefully packaging them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the smooth operation of our distribution network. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanning devices.
  • Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
  • Package selected items securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation to packages.
  • Operate manual and powered equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as required.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
  • Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines and using required PPE.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management systems is a plus.
