Join our team as a Shipping Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona! This role plays a vital part in our daily operations, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and are ready for dispatch. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping records. - Preparing accurate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Verifying outgoing shipments against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Communicating with warehouse staff and other departments regarding shipment status.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date shipping records and files.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of shipments as needed.
- Monitoring inventory levels of shipping supplies and reordering as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Performing general administrative tasks related to the shipping department.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, with a strong emphasis on Safety .
While not the primary focus, occasional Lifting of packages up to 30 lbs may be required. Appropriate PPE will be provided for any tasks that necessitate it. A proactive approach to ensuring all shipments are handled correctly and safely is essential.
