Become a vital part of our operations as a Material Handler in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is fundamental to our logistics and production processes, requiring individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of managing the movement of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently and safely. This role demands physical stamina, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and equipment.
- Sort and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Transport materials to and from various departments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Fulfill material requests from production and other departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the facility.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly desirable. Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse logistics is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are important. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic. A commitment to safety is paramount. This role is essential for our operational efficiency.
