Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in San Jose, California, where you'll play a critical role in the incoming flow of goods for our extensive logistics operations. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments. This involves verifying packing slips against received items, documenting any discrepancies, and staging merchandise for put-away. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records are essential. You will work closely with vendors, carriers, and internal warehouse staff to ensure a smooth and organized receiving process. This position is crucial to the integrity of our inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency. We provide all necessary training and emphasize a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Your contributions will directly impact the operational flow and customer satisfaction. We encourage teamwork and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, inspecting goods for damage or shortages, entering receiving data into our warehouse management system (WMS), and preparing goods for further processing within the facility. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and has a strong work ethic. Experience with shipping and receiving documentation is highly desirable. This role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 40 pounds.
