Join our thriving logistics operation as a Picker/Packer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This vital role ensures that customer orders are precisely picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will be an integral part of our distribution center, handling a variety of products and ensuring their safe transit. The Picker/Packer is responsible for the accurate assembly of orders and the meticulous packing of items to prevent damage during shipping. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order requests.
- Inspect items for defects and ensure correct quantities.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Operate scanning equipment accurately.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Capability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player mentality with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
