Join our fast-paced logistics center as a Picker/Packer in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring all orders are correctly packaged. A keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy are paramount for success in this position. You will work in a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our fulfillment operations. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking products based on order specifications using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Inspecting items for damage before packing.
- Efficiently packing orders to ensure product safety during transit.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Performing regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensuring all equipment, including lifting devices, is used safely and maintained properly.
