About
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage and optimize operations at our San Jose, California facility. This key role requires a blend of leadership, organizational prowess, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods, uphold inventory accuracy, and foster a productive team environment. Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies and workflows.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular audits and system updates.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and dispatch.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
- Enforce all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, including adherence to safe lifting practices.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and inventory.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental standards.
- Experience implementing and overseeing safety training and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with various forms of PPE and their proper use.
