Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia, to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. This role involves coordinating the flow of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth execution of logistics processes. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, supervising warehouse staff, and implementing best practices in warehouse management. Your contribution will be vital in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will play a key role in streamlining operations, minimizing errors, and maximizing productivity. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse dynamics and effective leadership skills. We expect our coordinators to champion safety and efficiency in all aspects of their work.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse management procedures.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts where applicable.
  • Implement safe lifting techniques and monitor team adherence.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar management role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  • Experience with safety procedures and risk assessment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
