Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for efficiency? We are looking for a skilled Picker/Packer to join our busy distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. This is a critical position within our Logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to providing a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Select appropriate packaging materials for different types of orders.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE , including gloves and safety glasses.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking and inventory checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes within Logistics is a plus.
