Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyors.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential Safety hazards.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Support logistics staff with material handling tasks as needed.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or electrical issues.
- Maintain logs and records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in a related field is a plus. Proven experience in a maintenance or technician role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment. Must understand and adhere to all Safety regulations and protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and work boots.
