We are searching for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Provo, Utah. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing logistics processes, from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment and shipping. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management principles. You will mentor and guide your team, enforce safety regulations, and implement best practices for material handling, including appropriate lifting techniques and the mandated use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are seeking an individual who can drive performance, solve problems effectively, and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse personnel.
- Ensure efficient receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment operations.
- Manage inventory levels and implement effective cycle counting procedures.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Enforce all safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and the use of PPE.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse facility.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.
- Track key performance indicators and report on operational status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety standards and regulations, including PPE and lifting protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
