Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization and labeling.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper lifting and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification and experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and practices, including PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
