Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO, FEFO) where applicable.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
- Collaborate with operations and receiving teams to resolve stock issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Support loss prevention initiatives.
- Assist with audits and reporting related to inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and logistics principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
