Join our busy logistics hub in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking dedicated individuals who are meticulous and efficient in fulfilling customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse stock and securely packaging them for shipment. Your role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, requiring all employees to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to established safety protocols. This position requires the ability to work quickly and accurately while handling physical tasks, including regular lifting. Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous. You will work within a team to meet daily targets and maintain a well-organized workspace. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking designated items from inventory shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verifying product details and quantities against order requirements.
- Carefully packaging items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Maintaining an orderly and clean packing station and surrounding work area.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as receiving or stocking, as directed by supervisors.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Capability for frequent lifting, with items typically weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Reliability and consistent attendance are essential.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
