About
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to manage inventory records and conduct stocktakes at our Atlanta, Georgia warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory data, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be proficient in using inventory management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Process outgoing inventory and ensure proper documentation.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse stockroom for easy access and efficient retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or excesses.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE when handling inventory.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring inventory data integrity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with workplace safety guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
