Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily warehouse activities in our Atlanta, Georgia facility. This role involves coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient workflow to support our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Supervise and guide warehouse staff, providing training and support.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and operational activities.
  • Coordinate with transportation and other departments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Implement and enforce the use of appropriate PPE for all warehouse personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that may arise.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance overall logistics efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and procedures.
  • Capacity for moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
