Join our vibrant logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Miami, Florida! We are seeking organized and efficient individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve locating products in the warehouse, verifying order accuracy, and securely packaging items for shipment. This role is vital for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. Safety is a top priority, and strict adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize efficiency.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets for picking and packing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status and any issues.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a related warehouse role is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
