Join our growing logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals who can accurately and efficiently select products for customer orders. Your responsibilities will include using pick lists, locating items in the warehouse, and preparing them for shipment. This role is critical to our customer satisfaction, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. We emphasize a safe work environment and require adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order sheets or electronic devices.
- Use RF scanners to track picked items and update inventory levels.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Stage orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks for material movement.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms or use digital picking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Awareness of safety protocols and consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting.
