Our dynamic logistics center in San Antonio, Texas, is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to ensure the smooth and accurate dispatch of all outgoing orders. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying order details against packed items, and coordinating with various shipping carriers. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy are essential for success. You will play a critical part in our supply chain, ensuring that products reach our customers efficiently and without issue. The position involves some physical tasks, including lifting boxes and moving them to staging areas. We maintain a strong commitment to safety in our workplace. All employees are required to wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for everyone. Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate shipping labels and prepare all necessary shipping documentation.
- Verify that orders are correctly picked and packed before shipment.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups.
- Track shipments and maintain records of outgoing packages.
- Communicate with warehouse and customer service teams regarding shipping status.
- Keep the shipping area organized and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
