We are seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This critical role ensures the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods, forming the foundation of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for unloading shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and accurately documenting all received items into our inventory system. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to established procedures are paramount. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect merchandise for damages or discrepancies.
- Accurately record all received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and stage incoming inventory for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory systems.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
