Join our fast-paced distribution center in Sacramento, California, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic individuals to play a key role in our order fulfillment process. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics success, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to identify and retrieve products. A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all employees are required to adhere to our safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves regular lifting of packages, with the ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently. This is a physically demanding job that requires standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and confirm order accuracy.
- Label packages for shipment and prepare them for outgoing logistics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing inventory.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
