We are seeking a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficient processing. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all received items. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety are essential. This position plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks safely and efficiently.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect all incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies; report any issues promptly.
- Accurately record all received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label incoming inventory according to established procedures.
