As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders in a timely manner. This position requires precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for accurately locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment within our large-scale warehouse. Understanding inventory locations and utilizing scanning equipment will be key aspects of your daily tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanning device.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall Logistics efficiency.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and transporting goods, including safe Lifting practices.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners and basic computer systems.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting and wearing required PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to workplace Safety are essential for this role within our logistics operations.
