We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify against shipping documents.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately to meet customer demands.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for certified individuals).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency and meet production goals.
- Support overall logistics operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology is beneficial.
- Understanding of safety best practices and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes in a dynamic logistics setting.
