We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is critical to the efficient functioning of our **logistics** network, encompassing a wide range of warehouse activities. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. A strong commitment to **safety** is essential, and all employees must adhere to strict **safety** regulations and properly utilize **PPE**. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to handle significant **lifting** and manual tasks throughout the day. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and possess excellent organizational skills. Your contribution will be vital to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in assigned warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick orders efficiently and accurately using various methods (e.g., RF scanners).
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring protection against damage.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (certification required for some equipment).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safe** work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all **safety** policies and procedures, including the use of **PPE**.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our **logistics** operations.
- Perform regular **lifting** and movement of items up to 50 lbs.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to **lift** and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** practices and **PPE**.
- Understanding of **logistics** and inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
