Become a vital part of our logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This versatile role involves a range of duties essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be involved in receiving incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position requires a proactive approach, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in all tasks, from inventory management to order fulfillment. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all company policies and procedures. This role involves significant lifting, with the ability to move items up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure all logistics processes are followed.
Requirements:
Must be able to perform physical tasks including significant lifting of up to 50 lbs. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols. Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including adherence to PPE guidelines, is essential.
