What does a Customer Care Representative do?

Enter the role of a Customer Care Representative, where your main responsibility is to create frictionless customer experiences. As the frontline liaison, you'll be handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing reliable assistance. Your effective communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of the Swish's products will be key assets.

More specific responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, acting as the first point of contact for any customer service needs
  • Accurately take customer orders by email or telephone in an efficient manner
  • Assist customers with online orders or questions related to Swish's website 
  • Proactively engage customers by reaching out to discuss and understand their business needs, encouraging additions to existing orders, and sharing information about new products
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of Swish's products and services in order to assist customers with best-in-class cleaning solutions 
  • When necessary, handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions or alternatives with realistic timelines and following up to ensure resolution was achieved
  • Ensure mailed orders are shipped promptly with accurate record keeping of invoices and PO #s
  • Complete invoicing, billing, and reporting
  • Utilize ERP and CRM platforms with confidence
  • Communicate with various teams and branches to obtain stock to fill backorders
  • Respond to and direct equipment service calls and provide timely updates to customers on the status of repairs
  • Assist as needed in the day-to-day operations of Swish's retail store by serving customers, invoicing orders, and retail merchandising
  • What do you need?

  • High School diploma
  • 1-2 years' experience in a customer-facing role. Sales experience is considered an asset
  • Basic customer service skills to confidently and accurately address customers' needs
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including experience with MS Excel
  • Experience with a CRM and other sales technologies is considered an asset
  • eCommerce experience considered an asset 
  • Attention to detail to accurately process invoices and reporting
  • Professional demeanor and telephone etiquette
