About
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will Design, develop, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems, devices, and processes that contribute to the efficiency, safety, and innovation of products and operations for personal and vehicle protection applications.
This position’s primary objective is to help develop add on armor drawings and other mechanical items in support of ground military vehicles.
* As part of the mechanical engineering design team, perform design tasks from armor panel layouts on military ground vehicles to detailed design of parts that support customer needs and design requirements.
* Create level 2 and 3 drawings IAW ANSI Y14.5 standards, DOD-STD-100 and others as necessary.
* Proficient at creating mechanical layouts and completing design studies/trades as required.
* Familiar with weldments, ballistic plates and other mechanical part drawings is necessary. Familiar with composite layouts and processes preferable.
* Familiar with electronic and optronics packaging a plus.
* Working knowledge of materials, processes and coatings for military vehicles.
* Ability to work with a small team under the direction of Integris engineers.
* Works within an organized framework to allow efficient information sharing.
* Participates in design and verification reviews as required. Support CCB on projects.
*Skills Required*
* Minimum of 3 + years of Solidworks, 3D modeling and 2D drawing package experience.
* Use of Solidworks PDM system for configuration management a must.
* Ability to convert CREO models to Solidworks for projects as necessary.
* Working knowledge of large model management techniques is desired, not required.
* Knowledge of Pro Cabling, Sheet metal, Piping, is desired, not required.
*Skills Desired*
* Familiar with mechanical design of ground military vehicles.
* Familiar with armor integration on military ground vehicles.

* Good listener and willing to learn new skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Basic Skills*
* MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Deep IT and CAD knowledge
* Ability to present to the team.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
