About
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues, providing preventive care, and ensuring the highest standards of dental practice. Hours are 10-6 , 1-3 days per week
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and assessments of patients’ dental health.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
* Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to:
* - Root canal therapy - Oral surgery - Endodontics - Prosthodontics
* Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Epic for patient management and record keeping.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress using appropriate dental terminology.
* Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
* Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.*Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
* Strong skills in patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
* Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
* Experience or knowledge in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with dental software systems such asDentrix is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team while demonstrating leadership when necessary.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per day
