Site Supervisor / Lead Carpenter – Custom Homes

Southall's Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Lead Carpenter to take ownership of high-end custom home projects across South Vancouver Island.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day site operations on custom home projects
• Plan and execute weekly and daily schedules from construction drawings
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, suppliers, and sequencing
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional jobsite
• Act as the primary onsite contact for clients
• Lead crews with clear expectations around quality, safety, and performance
• Work the hours required to deliver results and protect project standards

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreperson, or Lead Carpenter
• Strong hands-on carpentry background
• Experience with high-end custom residential construction
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage pressure
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to take ownership and accountability for outcomes

Compensation & Details

• $45.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience and performance
• Full-time, permanent position
• Dental and vision benefits
• Projects located from Victoria to Nanaimo
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
