Position Overview
We're looking for energetic, enthusiastic Youth Program Leaders to deliver exciting recreation opportunities to youth of the Westshore. Programs encourage participants to cultivate friendships and experience a wide variety of activities while developing lifetime skills. Under the direction of the Sport and Youth Programmer, Youth Program Leaders are responsible for the organization and implementation of a variety of programs including youth drop-in programs, youth sports programs, Home Alone courses, Cooking for Fun, and special events.

Job Duties and Accountabilities

Qualifications
- Current Emergency First Aid and CPR C/AED certification is required.
- Previous experience leading youth programs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and public relations skills are required.
- Post-secondary training in recreation, child and youth care, or a related field is an asset.
A clear and current criminal record check (employer initiated) is a condition of employment and is the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
