Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from inventory based on order fulfillment requests, using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage and verify quantities against order specifications.
- Package items carefully and correctly for safe transit, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to outgoing packages.
- Transport picked and packed orders to the designated shipping docks or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring all materials are stored appropriately and aisles are clear.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Utilize manual lifting aids like pallet jacks when necessary.
- Follow specific packing instructions to ensure order integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, quality issues, or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Assist with cycle counts and other inventory management tasks as needed.
- Employ proper lifting techniques to prevent personal injury and damage to goods.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations by meeting performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product information.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with general warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
