Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory and shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and RF scanners, to manage inventory and orders.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper securing.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring tidiness and accessibility.
- Perform quality checks on products and orders to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control tasks such as cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Apply proper lifting techniques to handle materials of varying weights and sizes.
- Support efficient logistics operations by meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse workflow.
- Report any safety concerns or operational issues promptly.
- Engage in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety practices.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
