We are seeking a proficient Material Handler to join our bustling logistics center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse as needed.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Pack items securely and apply appropriate shipping labels.
- Perform routine checks on equipment for safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Must be able to handle substantial lifting, up to 65 lbs.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and wear all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Forklift certification is a significant plus.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to PPE guidelines.
