We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our bustling distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position is critical to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products. You will also be involved in receiving, order picking, and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and excellent operating skills. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds may also be required. Experience with various types of forklifts and material handling equipment is essential. - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and stage products according to established procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and cycle counts.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
